When you email or phone Moonpaths you are making the first step toward embracing a new, transformed life. Alison will spend time with you by phone to establish an initial connection and help identify the critical issues, before setting up that first appointment. This first telephone consultation is free, will last approximately 20 minutes, and is vital in us deciding what kind of counselling best suits your situation.
You may need to discuss relationship problems as an individual or as a couple or you might need to talk out a painful experience such as the loss of a loved one. On the other hand, you may have recognized that you have a lack of self confidence which hinders your progression at work or in your personal relationships. Anything which has an impact on your well-being and hinders your joy in life is worth working out in an empathetic, yet challenging counselling environment.
Examples of areas people commonly bring to counselling:
- Addictions: Alcohol, internet sex, gambling
- Low self-esteem
- Workplace bullying
- Traumatic incidents: Assault, rape, discovery of partner’s infidelity
- Major life-decisions…change of job, house
At Moonpaths you will be warmly welcomed into a light, airy space where music, candles and incense promote a sense of relaxation. Counselling works here at Moonpaths because clients are sufficiently at ease to be able explore various difficulties and painful experiences. When we establish a true connection, you will find you have the ability to open up and the trust between us will grow. This process is about you talking and us discovering together new ways of moving forward, with you enjoying the liberation which comes from healing. You will become empowered to make your own choices, facilitated by my support. Privacy and confidentiality form the keystone of the relationship we form.
